Our School Story

Established in 1878, Mole Creek Primary School is a rural school located in the western region of the Meander Valley Council Area in Northern Tasmania, nestled beneath the stunning Greater Western Tiers. At Mole Creek Primary School, we take great pride in our unwavering commitment to excellence in both academic and extracurricular activities. Our dedicated teachers implement a high-quality teaching program that aligns with the Australian Curriculum, supplemented by a diverse array of differentiated learning strategies. Our school currently serves 67 students, ranging from Kindergarten to Grade 6. We also function as a “Launching into Learning” school, delivering weekly sessions for children aged birth to 4, laying a strong foundation prior to the formal introduction of kindergarten for ages 4 to 5. With robust community connections and actively involved parents, Mole Creek Primary School fosters a supportive and enriching educational environments for all our students.
